Learn to Swim to Survive ... beginner to advanced swimming courses
Preschool levels 1-5
Classes for timid to confident 3-5 year old pupils. Small classes (from 1 child to a maximum of 4) ensure individual attention.
- Enter & exit the water safely
- Learn to Swim ... Learn basics of freestyle and backstroke
- Learn to Swim ... Survival swimming - lifejackets, survival strokes and techniques
- Achievement is acknowledged with PASS awards comprising of a personalised certificate and woven badge
Our preschool pupils achieve being able to swim to survive. They then progress to have the confidence to swim independently out of their depth. This is a major milestone and is the foundation for rapid progression during more advanced stages of The Swim Centre's structured learning program ... PASS.
School-age levels 1-10
Classes for timid to confident 5-12 year old pupils. Small classes (from 1 child to a maximum of 6 children) ensure individual attention.
- Learn to Swim ... All stroke education - Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly
- Learn to Swim ... Distance swimming - swim to survive
- Learn to Swim ... Survival swimming - lifejackets, survival strokes and techniques
- Achievement is acknowledged with PASS awards comprising of a personalised certificate and woven badge
Our school pupils focus on developing a deeper knowledge of each stroke and as they age and become physically stronger these more advanced skills are able to be applied. Our classes develop swimmers that have an all-round ability that enables them to enjoy any water activity with confidence. Many of our pupils are involved in competitive swimming, surf lifesaving, waterpolo, triathlons, yachting etc.
Private one-on-one tuition
- For those requiring assistance to overcome any “water” concerns.
- Enables rapid improvement in both confidence and specific techniques e.g. “freestyle breathing”.
- Ideal for adults.
